To highlight the juncture of land and art, Jackson Hole Land Trust will host FoundSpace 2019, which will be in its fifth year as an interactive public art project. Found objects, gathered on conservation easements, will be fashioned into contemporary artwork residing temporarily on a protected public property managed by JHLT. Led by local artists, the resulting installations will transform the space. FoundSpace brings awareness to a unique public-access property, educates the community and connects them with open spaces. The project explores the themes that lie between the idea of open spaces as places of reflection and regeneration, and the ability of art to bridge human culture and the natural environment.
